Why Do Women Lose Their Minds When You Tell The Truth?

Are we really that incomprehensible?

Half of women will deny it but they all know it’s true:

Sometimes when we ask “do I look fat in this dress?” we don’t really want the truth. We want validation. And yes, I know that’s unfair. Completely unfair.

But stick with me because this goes much deeper than it seems.

Yesterday I got an email from a man. Married 12 years. Two kids. Solid career. A relationship that on the surface seems to work.

His wife asked: “Do you think that woman from your work is pretty?”

He, honest as he’s always been, answered: “Yes, she’s attractive.”

She exploded. Three days of silence.

Accusations that he doesn’t find her beautiful. Drama about how he clearly wants his coworker.

Veiled threats about divorce.
