Is Nudity the Only Liberation Feminism Offers?
It’s shameful what’s happening to our society.
You see it every day, new Instagram account, “empowered” photo, bio says “self-employed,” link to “exclusive” content.
They call it freedom.
I look and think: freedom from what, exactly?
Freedom to sell ourselves again, just without middlemen and with a nice filter?
If “emancipation” is trading a boss for subscribers, that isn’t liberation it’s the market with better marketing.
I’m not here to moralize your body.
Your body is yours. Period.
What I’m questioning is the narrative: they tell you you show up naked because you want to, because you’re in control, because now you decide.
And I ask: do you really decide, or are you obeying the same algorithm that runs everyone?
When almost everyone chooses the same path, it’s not “individual choice.”
It’s a trend.
And trends have owners.
